FUT Icons get Stories in FIFA 18

Up to three unique versions of some of the greatest players can be had

EA Sports has revealed new details about Stories for FUT Icons in FIFA 18.

Stories expand the Icons cards, giving players a chance to find up to three unique versions of some of the greatest players of all time for their FUT squads. EA SPORTS also announced that Ronaldinho will be joining the lineup as an Icon. He joins previously revealed players like Pele, Ronaldo Nazario, Thierry Henry, Lev Yashin, and Diego Maradona, as well as several other stars such as Rui Costa, Patrick Vieira and more.

Ronaldinho’s Icon Stories will highlight three distinct points in his storied career; Ronaldinho in 2002 when he was a member of Paris St. Germain and on his way to winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup for Brazil; Ronaldinho in 2010, when he brought home the title for Milan in his final season with the club; and prime Ronaldinho, a version from 2004 when he dominated La Liga, and secured top honors as the FIFA World Player of the Year.

Each Icons Story will feature its own unique ratings, so players can discover variations for each legendary player.

FIFA 18 will be released worldwide on September 29 for, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems. Ronaldo Edition and ICON Edition owners get three-day early access, letting them start playing on Tuesday, September 26, while EA Access and Origin Access members can try up to 10 hours of play time starting Thursday, September 21 as part of the EA Access and Origin Access Play First Trial.
