Frostpunk 2 launches on PC in July

11 bit studios have announced that the release of Frostpunk 2 is for July 25 on PC.

In Frostpunk 2, players are once again tasked with playing as the leader of a resource-hungry metropolis where the expansion and search for new sources of power is an unavoidable reality. But the apocalyptic world has moved on. After the age of coal, conquering Frostland for the oil extraction industry is expected to be the new salvation of what’s left of humanity. However, change does not come easily, and not everyone in this new multi-layered society will welcome this new direction.

Both the Frostpunk 2 base game (44.99 USD / 44.99 EUR / 37.99 GBP) and the Digital Deluxe edition (74.99 USD / 74.99 EUR / 62.99 GBP) are available for pre-order today. The Digital Deluxe edition includes the game, 7 day beta access to part of the Sandbox mode in April, three paid post-release DLCs, exclusive access to the story mode 72 hours early, a digital novella, digital artbook & soundtrack.

Frostpunk 2 will release on PC and on PC Game Pass on the 25th of July. The game is also planned for console release at a later date.
