Final Fantasy XIV closed beta begins
Closed testing begins as the game is still on schedule for 2010 release
Square Enix has announced that testers for the highly anticipated FINAL FANTASY XIV have been selected for the closed alpha phase. To those who were not selected in this drawing, it is suggested not to worry. There will be other opportunities to come. Please sit tight and remember not to re-register if you've already submitted a beta application - this will get you disqualified for selection.
If you haven't signed up for the beta yet and would like to participate, head over to the official site for more details. No previous MMORPG experience is required for the beta - or to enjoy the game! In the meantime, players are urged to check out the site's Gamplay section. There, you'll learn about the foundation of the FINAL FANTASY XIV experience - The Armoury System - and see why this is one of the most anticipated titles of 2010.
The online title is scheduled to be released this year on PS3 and PC.
