COD: Black Ops 3 beta expanded

Treyarch has confirmed some new additions to the Black Ops III Beta currently available on PlayStation 4.

The developers are increasing the level cap to Major (Level 34) - which will unlock new weapons, equipment, perks and scorestreaks. It also unlocks a new specialist - Reaper.

Treyarch is also introducing a new map into the rotation with Stronghold - a high-tech Swiss chateau in the frozen Alps, featuring an asymmetrical design with a mix of exposed sightlines and close quarters.

Finally, Uplink game mode has been added to the multiplayer playlist. In Uplink, players face off in an effort to take control of a downed satellite and into the enemy's goal.

Last but not least, the multiplayer beta is now open to all PS4 users, not just those who preordered the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set for release this Fall on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
