First Halo 5 DLC coming next week
Free update Battle of Shadow and Light will add new items, game mode
Microsoft has announced the upcoming release of free content for Halo 5: Guardians next week with the Battle of Shadow and Light DLC add-on.
The DLC includes new items, such as new Ultra Rare and Legendary items, like the Shinobi armor and the Dying Star Light Rifle. There are Tundra and Woodland-themed skins, a Shove-It assassination and dozens more items to unlock, discover and utilize.
The update will also bring Big Team Battle mode, with the first four maps in the mix that have been, in varying ways, significantly adjusted for the new mobility, weapons and features of Halo 5: Guardians – and all are available in both Customs and matchmaking, and present just a hint of the content featured in next month’s Forge.
Once it’s available next week, Battle of Shadow and Light will automatically download and install for all players.
Halo 5: Guardians is now available, exclusively for Xbox One.
