Fable Legends open beta in Spring 2016
More time needed before the game is playable by general public
Developers Lionhead Studios have announced that the Fable Legends Open Beta will launch in Spring 2016.
"Fable Legends is coming together well and it’s a lot of fun. But we think that we can make it even better. So we’ve decided to extend our closed beta to continue to listen to feedback from our players and add features and polish that will make a real difference. This means Fable Legends won’t release into open beta this holiday as previously announced," said the team.
The developers say the delay is due to how ambitious this multiplayer title is, combining RPG and RTS gameplay, as well as ability to play across Xbox One and Windows 10.
The closed beta continues to run 24/7 and new features, quests, creatures, and heroes to play are being continuously added.
Fable Legends will be released in 2016 for PC and Xbox One.
