No Man's Sky delayed
The ambitious exploration game needs a few more weeks for polish
Hello Games and Sony have announced that No Man’s Sky has been delayed.
Having just been announced to release in June earlier this year, the game will now instead arrive North America on August 9, in Europe August 10, and in the UK August 12.
"As we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special," said Sean Murray.
No Man's Sky is a science-fiction game set in a large procedurally generated universe. Players can explore and discover unique never-before-seen planets and lifeforms, trade, or fight.
The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and PC.
