Descent DLC announced for COD: Black Ops 3
The third content pack will debut in July, first on PS4
Activision has announced Descent, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, will release first on PlayStation 4 on 12th July.
Descent DLC features four new multiplayer maps that takes the action across the globe to unique settings. Empire is Treyarch's adaptation of Black Ops II fan favourite map Raid. Located far off the coast in the Dead Sea, Cryogen is an isolated compound holds some of the world’s most dangerous criminals in frozen isolation.
Ancient sentinels from a lost civilisation guard the entrance to Berserk, a Viking village frozen in time. Lastly, players battle amongst larger-than-life mechanised warriors in Rumble, a stadium where giant robots battle to the roar of the crowd.
Descent also contains the next chapter of the Origins Zombies saga, with Gorod Krovi. Players face-off against a swarm of mechanised zombie infantry and dodge hell-fire from aerial dragon assaults, all in the middle of a raging battle within the remnants of Stalingrad.
The Descent DLC can be purchacsed as standalone or it comes with the DLC Season Pass. The DLC will also release on PC and Xbox One at a later date.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was released last year on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. A version of the game is also available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
