Firewatch developers join Valve
Campo Santo studio acquired by DOTA 2 makers
Developers at studio Campo Santo have agreed to join Valve, as the Steam platform holder has decided to purchase the studio.
Campo Santo say that their choice to join Valve was a big decision, but they are excited to work for a studio with such a huge following and storied history.
Campo Santo have so far released Firewatch, and their next project is In the Valley of Gods, coming in 2019. The team says there are no changes to their plans - the Firewatch Switch port is still on the way, and the Valley of Gods will still be a multiplatform release.
As for Valve, in recent years they have focused on developing the Steam platform, as well as their ongoing titles such as DOTA 2. The company hasn't developed or published any new major games since 2013.
