Battlefield V DLC plans announced
A roadmap for planned future content, battle royale mode pushed to 2019
EA and DICE have announced the DLC roadmap for Battlefield V, this year and beyond.
All future content will fall under the umbrella of Tides of War, the live service for Battlefield V. Chapter 1: Overture will arrive sometime in December – January. It will add the Panzerstorm map, where the German mechanized war machine plunges into Belgium. The first chapter also adds a War Story The Last Tiger. Practice Range will also be added, along with Vehicle Customization.
Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes will release sometime in January – March 2019. It will focus on vehicle warfare and rapid infantry movement. It will also add a co-op experience of Combined Arms. Further two game modes will be added to Battlefield V. A revamped Rush and Squad Conquest.
Then, Chapter 3: Trial by Fire is planned for March 2019. It will bring Battle Royale to the game with the Firestorm game mode. It also adds a Greece map.
Battlefield V will launch on November 20 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
