DayZ entering beta stage

The very long in-development game is finally planning a full launch

The DayZ development team has announced that after over five years of Early Access Alpha, the PC version of DayZ is entering the beta stage.

The DayZ Beta will shift the team's focus from introducing new features and content to bug fixing, stabilization and balancing. The goal is to create a stable experience for the 1.0 release, scheduled for the end of 2018.

The pricing will not change for DayZ with the BETA release, so for now, DayZ is still available for 27,99 EUR / 34,99 USD. The price may change after full launch.

DayZ is an open world survival video game in development by Bohemia Interactive. It is the standalone successor of the mod of the same name. The game entered early access on Steam in December 2013. Console versions are also planned.
