Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to PC
The collection of games is coming soon to Windows, being joined by Halo: Reach
Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced that Halo: Reach is being added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC), and the collection is coming to PC.
The Master Chief’s arrival on PC will happen in stages with each title releasing one by one over time - giving the development teams the ability to ensure each one is right, while giving players a chance to jump in right away, rather than having to wait for the entire suite of games to be completed.
Halo: Reach will be released on PC first, followed by Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4. Each will be open to individual purchase within MCC as they become available.
Alongside this news, the developers also announced that Halo: Reach will be added to existing owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One. The remake promises to looks better than ever in 4K/HDR on compatible hardware and plays at 60FPS.
On Xbox One specifically, Halo: Reach’s multiplayer content will be automatically included for everyone who owns Halo: The Master Chief Collection while Halo: Reach’s Campaign and Firefight experiences will be offered together as a premium digital add-on.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection first launched on Xbox One in 2014. Halo: Reach was released in 2010.
