Dying Light 2 release pushed back
Spring 2020 is no longer the target window for the sequel
Techland has announced that their upcoming action game sequel Dying Light 2 will not meet the expected Spring 2020 launch date.
Although no exact date was ever confirmed, the developers and publisher Square Enix were aiming for Spring 2020. Now, the team has issued a statement, delaying the game into the future, and not providing a new window.
The reason for the delay was vague, only stating it is to bring the game up to a standard that the developers and fans will be happy with.
Dying Light 2 brings to life a unique post-apocalyptic vision of the Modern Dark Ages - a bleak and unforgiving reality where you are as likely to perish at the hand of a human as you are by the infected.
The game is planned to release on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
