XBox Live price increase announced
On November 1, Xbox Live service is getting a price hike
Microsoft just announced that it’s raising the cost of an Xbox Live Gold subscription in Canada, Mexico, the US and the UK as of November 1. This price increase affects Xbox LIVE Members in Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom or the United States.
The increase was announced on the MajorNelson website, citing "We’re confident that when the new pricing takes effect, an Xbox LIVE Gold membership will continue to offer the best value in the industry."
Those wanting to avoid the increase can lock-in their LIVE plan right now for a longer term, citing additional discounts.
