DIRT 5 gets custom arena mode

Codemasters have announced the Playgrounds mode for DIRT 5.

Playgrounds allows players to design, create, edit and race on custom arenas and share them. Using a suite of objects from bumps, kickers and ramps, to loops, tunnels and rings of fire, players can get creative.

Three modes can be played in the arenas – Gate Crasher (checkpoint dash), Gymkhana (rewarded for speed and style), and Smash Attack (position smashable objects and define a target score).

DIRT 5 will be released this October for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. A PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are also planned.
