The zombie action game sequel has a new planned launch date
Publisher and developer Techland has announced that Dying Light 2 has a new launch date for December 7, 2021.
The long-in-development zombie action game was first announced many years ago, and planned for a 2019 launch, but was delayed a few times. The game also now has a subtitle - Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
Those who wish to pre-order can get the Deluxe Edition (Physical and Digital, $79.99 USD) which includes a SteelBook (physical-only); access to a story DLC that will be available in the months after the release, exclusive weapon charms, “Legendary” outfit and weapon skits, wallpapers, digital comic, artbook, and soundtrack.
There's also an Utimate Edition (Digital, $100 USD) which contains all of Deluxe Edition content, as well as 2h Night XP Boost, crafting items, and Expansion pass with two extra stories that will be available in the months after the release.
Lastly, a physical Collector’s Edition has everything in the Ultimate Edition, plus art book hard copy, UV flashlight, Map of the city, 3 postcards, stickers pack, and a Thank-you letter from creative director.
Dying Light 2 will be released on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
