New DLC Mixes for DJ Hero 2 announced

Usher, Rihanna, and Marvin Gaye Getting the DJ Hero mashup treatment in November - more to be announced soon

Players who pick up DJ Hero 2 on October 19 will soon be able to expand upon their 83 mix set list with original, exclusive mixes featuring some of the biggest hits from the hottest artists, as Activision today announced two upcoming downloadable Mix Packs.

The Hit Makers Mix Pack (available starting November 2) will include hits from Usher, Rihanna, and Big Boi. Electro Hits Mix Pack (available starting November 16) will contain tracks from LMFAO, Steve Aoki and SMD.

Also available in November will be a free compatibility update enabling gamers to purchase and play existing downloadable content from DJ Hero in DJ Hero 2 including mixes featuring music from JAY-Z, Eminem, David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Pussycat Dolls and many others. Consumers who already own previous DJ Hero downloadable content will be able to play their mixes in DJ Hero 2 without re-purchasing.

Dropping on October 19, DJ Hero 2 will invite a wave of new digital disc jockeys to the turntables as the game will be available as a Party Bundle which will include a copy of the game, two turntable controllers and a microphone. The game is in development by FreeStyleGames for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
