PlayStation Showcase broadcasts live May 24

The PlayStation Showcase will broadcast live next Wednesday, May 24 at 1pm Pacific Time / 9pm British Time. The event is expected to run for about an hour, with a focus on PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 games. It will show off new games from first-party and third-party studios, as well as some indie games. The event will be live on Youtube and Twitch.

Last year, The Last of Us Remake was announced at the show, although it leaked beforehand. The event also showed off Alien: Dark Descent, which has yet to be released. There were also a plethora of gameplay trailers for a range of titles, so expect much of the same.

PlayStation 5 is now nearly three years old, launching back in November 2020. Like last year, we expect that many games at the showcase will be available for PlayStation 4 and/or other platforms.
