Starship Troopers: Extermination enters Early Access

Offworld Industries, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, have launched Starship Troopers: Extermination on Steam’s Early Access. More features and enhancements will be added overtime to this pre-release version. The Early Access is available for $24.99 USD, but this price will increase as more content is added for launch.

Starship Troopers: Extermination features 16 player co-op and base construction on the hostile planet of Valaka. Players will need to acquire resources and construct walls, towers, ammo stations. The game has three playable classes: Assault, Support, and Defense. Each class has a progression system to unlock more equipment and perks. As at Early Access, the game has five bug types, including Drone, Warrior, Gunner, Plasma Grenadier, and Tiger Elite.

Starship Troopers: Extinction is currently only available on PC via Steam’s Early Access although console versions are possible in the future. The developers plan to fully release the game in about a year, depending on how Early Access unfolds.
