S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 gets 2024 release date
The much-delayed shooter now aims for September launch
GSC Game World have announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl now has a new launch date.
The title was first re-revealed in 2020 and had a few launch dates planned since, but was delayed each time for more additional time, and due to the war in the developer's home nation of Ukraine.
The developers have now provided yet another new launch date, this time aiming for September 5, 2024. The team says this extra time allows them to apply more polish to the game, and incorporate some feedback that they have gathered from fans during closed demo sessions.
The game is planned for release on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
