Until Dawn coming to PC and PS5
Enhanced version of the horror game promises improved visuals
Sony has announced that the 2015 horror adventure game Until Dawn is coming to PS5 and PC, ported by Ballistic Moon.
Rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, the new version promises enhancements across the board, with new and improved animations build on the success of the original character performances. Characters, environments and VFX have been upgraded, with a broader cinematic tonal colour palette and new perspectives.
A third-person camera has also been added, which means you can now look behind the curtain of the original game, exploring enhanced and new locations with new interactions and collectables. The sound has undergone an overhaul too, featuring a new score from horror composer Mark Korven.
In Until Dawn, eight friends trapped together on a remote mountain retreat, and they aren't alone. Gripped by dread, with tensions running high, they must fight through their fear if they all hope to make through the night in one piece. Play as each of the eight characters and make choices that will decide their life or death fate.
Until Dawn originally launched on PS4 in 2015.
