PC system specs dropped for Black Ops 6
Includes ultrawide support and numerous AMD features
Activision have released the system specs for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 that will be launching on October 25. On the minimum end, players will need a Ryzen 5 1400 or an Intel i5-6600 CPU paired with an AMD RX 470 or GeForce GTX 960 GPU. These are fairly low-end min specs and basically identical as last year’s Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare III.
102GB of hard drive space is required, not including Warzone, which is a bit more than last year (78 GB). Additional space is required for updates, so this size is expected to grow rapidly as all future maps are free. The nuketown map is coming on November 1.
The Competitive / 4K ultra spec requires a Ryzen 7 2700X or Intel i7-8700K CPU and an AMD RX 6800 XT or GeForce RTX 3080 GPU. 16GB of RAM is also recommended. Black Ops 6 will launch with support for a number of AMD features including FSR 3, Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) and Frame Generation. The game also promises over 500 customization options so you can spend hours tweaking before playing.
PC preloading will begin for all platforms on October 21 at 9am PST for the global launch on the 25th of October.
