Aion 2.5 update going live this month
Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling launching in May
NCSoft has announced that the next big update, Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling is set to launch globally on May 25th.
The update promises to bring new instances, quests, and graphical enhancements, while a new mentoring system will help veteran and low-level character alike on their journeys. The update also features an improved graphics engine, new characters customisation options, new pets with special capabilities and more.
The official patch notes for the update have also gone live. The PTS client will be available at 8am PDT for download via the incremental patcher. Aion was developed and published by NCSoft, and is in stores now for Windows PC.
