Steam, Direct2Drive kick off summer deals
Digital distributors set to create big sales
Summer is kicking off, and Steam with Direct2Drive are starting their annual discount spree.
Starting today, Steam kicked off its Summer Sale, with a slew of titles from 33% to 75% off. New sales are promised daily, and today's offerings include Witcher 2, TDU2, and Oblivion GOTY. A contest is also in place that allows users to gather achievements and get entered to win prizes. The sale is set to run June 30th to July 10th.
Direct2Drive has also announced that their own Summer sale meanwhile, via Facebook. This sale is planned to run the whole month of July, and will likely contain similar deals as Steam - though not as many games on sale on a single day.
