Xbox LIVE coming to Windows 8
Microsoft to bring the Xbox LIVE service to their Windows platform
Microsoft has announced that they will be bringing Xbox LIVE to the PC with Xbox LIVE on Windows. The service is said to be coming to Windows 8.
Announced by Xbox personality Major Nelson, the addition of Xbox LIVE to Windows 8 is part of Microsoft's vision to bring entertainment to the platform for easy use and sharing.
At BUILD, Microsoft plans to show developers how to easily create games for Windows 8 that take advantage of the Xbox LIVE platform.
More details on the integration are promised in the future. There is currently no release date set for Windows 8, the next version of the major PC operating system.
