Online Pass required to play as Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City
If you thought a single player game cannot try to avoid used sales, think again
It has been revealed that Batman: Arkham City will include an Online Pass code which is required to unlock Catwoman in the game.
Catwoman is only playable for those who have bought a new copy of the game or buy a code. It seems as even though the game lacks multiplayer, the pass model can still be applied to single player only titles.
Players who purchase previously owned copies of Batman: Arkham City can access the playable Catwoman content for $9.99 / 800 Microsoft Points. It is said that playing as Catwoman is not required to complete the game.
Without the VIP pass code, Catwoman still appears in the game as part of the story, but her playable missions remain locked.
Batman: Arkham City is coming Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next week, while the PC version is set for November release.
