Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo released
Players can try out the evolved battle system and fully explore an area
Square Enix has announced that a playable demo for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is now available.
“The Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo provides an excellent opportunity for players to try out the evolved battle system and fully explore an entire area of the game. We are very pleased to give our fans the chance to see the multitude of game improvements for themselves," said producer Yoshinori Kitase.
Taking place in the Bresha Ruins of the game, the demo sees Noel and Serah pitted against a powerful adversary called Atlas, who has mysteriously appeared due to an anomaly in time and space. The new Monster Recruitment System is also available, which allows the player to enlist defeated enemies into their party that can be developed and grown alongside the game’s main protagonists.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo is available for download today on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The game will be released late this month.
