Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch released
Fan requested addon finally arrives on PS3
Konami has today announced the availability of free DLC for the fourth installment to the multi-million unit selling Metal Gear Solid franchise, Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PlayStation 3.
The download will be automatically implemented upon logging into PSN with the game running, adding 34 Trophies to the game. This has been one of the most fan-requested features for any title on the PlayStation 3 platform.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, a PlayStation 3 exclusive title, is set in 2014. Snake is experiencing accelerated aging due to his status as a clone, and has less than a year to live. When his former commanding officer Roy Campbell approaches him with one last mission - to terminate Liquid - Snake accepts and is dropped into the Middle Eastern war zone.
