Microsoft partners with EA for FIFA 14
Game bundle in Europe with new console, Football Legends revealed
Microsoft has announced a partnership with EA that will see exclusive FIFA 14 content on Xbox One.
First up, Freddi Ljungberg and Ruud Gullit have announced on stage that Football Legends will be included in this year's FIFA 14, but only on Xbox One. Legend players, including Pele’, Patrick Viera, Freddie Ljungberg, Ruud Gullit and Gary Linekar, will have their own distinct look, unique attributes, and custom biography, and will be randomly included in Gold Packs in Ultimate Team on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Fans will be able to acquire Legends in packs or through the Transfer Market, and then compete with their squads in special tournaments.
Further, it was announced that all pre-order Xbox One consoles in Europe will include a digital version of a blockbuster game and the first game included will be FIFA 14. All pre-orders to date and future pre-orders will include FIFA 14, while supplies last.
Additionally, starting September 27 in Europe fans will be able to purchase a FIFA 14 Xbox 360 bundle.
FIFA 14 will arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on September 24 in North America and September 27 in Europe. Next generation versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will launch later.
