FIFA 14 now available
Annual soccer title released in North America
Electronic Arts has announced that FIFA 14 is available in retail stores now throughout North America, and as a digital download on Origin.
More than 5 million fans worldwide — the most ever for an EA SPORTS game — have played the FIFA 14 demo. Fans have also been enjoying early access to FIFA 14 Ultimate Team in record numbers. The number of fans who have played the demo has increased 7% year-over-year while the number of fans using the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Web App attracted 1.35 million players — up 86 percent year-over-year—and over 830,000 daily active users.
FIFA 14 features 13 different online and offline game modes. A new feature called Pure Shot and a brand-new ball physics system transform shooting while Precision Movement promises the authentic motion of real athletes. Football Club News and Alerts will suggest different areas of the game to connect and engage with friends, such as playing Co-op Seasons together or competing for high score in a skill game.
FIFA 14 is available today on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC. The game will also be available with the launch of the Xbox One on November 19 (North America) and November 21 (Europe), and PlayStation 4 on November 12 (North America) and November 29 (Europe).
