Far Cry 4 gets Overrun DLC

Ubisoft has announced that Overrun, the latest DLC pack for Far Cry 4, is now available for download.

Overrun itself is the new PvP mode. Throughout the match, three designated locations will activate with only one location active at a time. Both factions compete to control the active zone and score points. The more team members a faction has in the zone at a time, the more points they score.

The DLC also contains four new maps that have been specifically crafted to support the new mode. To help even the score, the Golden Path have brought another vehicle into the mix - the dune buggy is now playable, giving the Golden Path a chance to compete in the mode that requires quick map traversal.

Overrun is available as part of the Far Cry 4 Season Pass or can be purchased separately.

Lastly, the Far Cry 4 Map Editor now allows all maps created to be playable in co-op. This requested feature will allow players to enjoy the Far Cry 4 co-op experience in their own custom environments.

Far Cry 4 was released late last year on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.
