Resident Evil Revelations 2 debuts

Capcom has confirmed that the episodic serial thriller Resident Evil Revelations 2 releases digitally across North America beginning today, with Episode 1 available now.

The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees Claire Redfield make a return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organization Terra Save. She and Moira Burton are attending a company party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office, capture Claire and Moira and take them to a dark and abandoned detention facility on a mysterious island.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is releasing as a weekly series of episodic downloads. A digital download option of the Complete Season is also available, and a retail disc version will arrive on March 17, 2015 when the final episode releases. Each episode in Resident Evil Revelations 2 includes Raid mode content and two full playable scenarios focused on the Claire and Moira storyline as well as the Barry and Natalia campaign.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is available for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
