Mortal Kombat X offers DLC Season pass
Kombat Pack will include access to Jason Voorhees, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions delayed
In celebration of Friday 13th, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed details for the Kombat Pack, the DLC season pass for the upcoming fighting game Mortal Kombat X.
The pass will grant fans access to downloadable content (DLC), some of which will be available beginning at launch. The Kombat Pack will include access to four playable characters still in development, including horror icon from the Friday the 13th films, Jason Voorhees, as well as two Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants and another special guest character.
In the Americas, the Kombat Pack is included in the Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition by Coarse, Limited Edition and Premium Edition, and will be available for purchase separately for $29.99.
In addition, fans who purchase the Kombat Pack will receive the Samurai Pack containing three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character. Kombat Pack owners will also gain early access to the future DLC content before it is available for sale individually.
Finally, the publisher has said that Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, being developed by High Voltage Software, will be delayed to summer.
Mortal Kombat X will be released first on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on April 14th.
